February 2, 2024: South Pittsburg, TN 37380 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the South Pittsburg Pirates (South Pittsburg, TN) and the visiting Howard Tech Hustlin' Tigers (Chattanooga, TN), saw South Pittsburg's basketball squad wallop Howard Tech by a count of 79-53.
With the victory, South Pittsburg upgrades its record to 16-2 on the campaign. The Pirates host Sale Creek (Sale Creek, TN) to play the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Monday, February 5. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 15-8.
Next up, the Hustlin' Tigers play the Ooltewah Owls (Ooltewah, TN) in a 4A District 6 challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Howard Tech will attempt to upgrade on its 8-13 season record.
