The Pagosa Springs Pirates basketball team scored 45 points and held the visiting Ignacio Bobcats to 23 in the Pirates league triumph on Friday.

The Pirates now sport a 16-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Alamosa for a 4A/3A Intermountain contest on Saturday, February 3. Pagosa Springs will meet a Mean Moose team coming off a 50-25 league win over Ignacio (Ignacio, CO). The Mean Moose record now stands at 10-6.
