Oregon High School Basketball - Willamette Valley Christian routs Lewis Academy
February 2, 2024: Brooks, OR 97305 In Friday's league outing, the Willamette Valley Christian Warriors (Brooks, OR) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Lewis Academy Watchmen (Newberg, OR), by a margin of 70-43.
The Warriors (16-7) will now prepare for their outing against Country Christian (Molalla, OR). The Cougars go into the non-league outing with a 14-6 record. In their last outing, Country Christian smashed North Clackamas Christian (Oregon City, OR), 50-49, in a league outing.
The Watchmen now own a 9-12 record. They play next when they host St. Paul for a 1A Casco outing on Monday, February 5. Lewis Academy will clash with a Buckaroos squad coming off a 50-48 league loss to Falls City/Kings Valley Charter (Falls City, OR). The Buckaroos record now stands at 9-13.
