Michigan High School Basketball - Marquette holds off Menominee
February 2, 2024: Marquette, MI 49855 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Marquette Redmen (Marquette, MI) and the visiting Menominee Maroons (Menominee, MI), saw Marquette's basketball squad hold off Menominee by a tally of 75-71.
With the victory, Marquette improves its record to 13-3 on the campaign. The Redmen travel to Gladstone (Gladstone, MI) to confront the Braves in a Great Northern U.P. challenge on Tuesday, February 6. The Braves come into the challenge with a record of 6-8.
Next up, the Maroons confront the Iron Mountain Mountaineers (Iron Mountain, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 5. Menominee will attempt to improve on its 11-4 season record.
