Michigan High School Basketball - St.Ignace tipped by Marquette
February 9, 2024: Marquette, MI 49855 The Marquette Redmen basketball team scored 93 points and held the visiting St.Ignace Saints to 88 in the Redmen non-league triumph on Friday.
The Redmen now sport a 16-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Houghton for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 13. Marquette will meet a Gremlins team coming off a 75-37 league win over Hancock (Hancock, MI). The Gremlins record now stands at 13-8.
The Saints (12-6) will now prepare for their contest against Pickford (Pickford, MI). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 14-3 record. In their last contest, Pickford was nudged by Sault Area (Sault St. Marie, MI), 79-59, in a non-league contest.
