New Mexico High School Basketball - Albuquerque Academy crushes Bernalillo
February 2, 2024: Bernalillo, NM 87004 Albuquerque Academy Chargers (Albuquerque, NM) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Bernalillo Spartans (Bernalillo, NM), 62-30 in a league bout.
With the victory, Albuquerque Academy upgrades its record to 15-5 on the campaign. The Chargers host Menaul (Albuquerque, NM) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 13-3. Menaul won 41-38 in their recent league bout against Estancia (Estancia, NM)
Next up, the Spartans play the Valley Vikings (Albuquerque, NM) in a 4A District 6 bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Bernalillo will attempt to upgrade on its 10-11 season record. The Vikings come into the bout with a 8-12 record after their 59-41 non-league win over Cibola (Albuquerque, NM).
