California High School Basketball - Pacific Ridge nips Classical Academy
February 2, 2024: Carlsbad, CA 92009 Pacific Ridge Firebirds (Carlsbad, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Classical Academy Caimans (Escondido, CA), 43-38 in a league bout.
With the win, Pacific Ridge upgrades its record to 11-12 on the season. The Firebirds travel to Escondido Charter (Escondido, CA) to play the White Tigers in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 8. The White Tigers go into the bout with a record of 14-11.
Next up, the Caimans play the Francis Parker Lancers (San Diego, CA) in a Freelance bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Classical Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 6-13 season record. The Lancers go into the bout with a 15-8 record after their 61-54 league loss to La Jolla Country Day (La Jolla, CA).
