The High Plains Storm basketball team scored 47 points and held the host East Butler Tigers to 34 in the Storm non-league triumph on Friday.

The Storm now sport a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cross County for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 3. High Plains will play a Cougars squad coming off a 56-25 non-league win over Nebraska Lutheran (Waco, NE). The Cougars record now stands at 17-2.

Next up, the Tigers play the Cross County Cougars (Stromsburg, NE) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 6. East Butler will attempt to upgrade on its 6-12 season record.
