The Laporte Wildcats (Laporte, MN) basketball nipped the host Red Lake Warriors (Red Lake, MN), 48-43 in Friday's non-league test.

The Wildcats (3-23) will now prepare for their test against Long Prairie-Grey Eagle (Long Prairie, MN). The Thunder go into the A Section 5 test with a 3-16 record.
