Connecticut High School Basketball - Middletown overwhelms South Windsor
February 2, 2024: Middletown, CT 06457 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Middletown Blue Dragons (Middletown, CT) and the visiting South Windsor Bobcats (South Windsor, CT), saw Middletown's basketball squad wallop South Windsor by a tally of 62-38.
With the victory, Middletown improves its record to 14-3 on the campaign. The Blue Dragons travel to Platt (Meriden, CT) to play the Panthers in a Central Connecticut - South Colonial challenge on Monday, February 5. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 1-15. Platt lost 39-26 in their recent non-league challenge against Bristol Eastern (Bristol, CT)
Next up, the Bobcats play the Stafford Bulldogs (Stafford Springs, CT) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 3. South Windsor will attempt to improve on its 6-9 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 1-11 record after their 48-24 league loss to Sports & Medical Sciences Academy (Hartford, CT).
