Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Southington Blue Knights (Southington, CT) and the visiting Middletown Blue Dragons (Middletown, CT), saw Southington's basketball squad wallop Middletown by a tally of 70-46.

With the victory, Southington improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Blue Knights host Conard (West Hartford, CT) to confront the Red Wolves in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 15. The Red Wolves come into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Conard won 69-20 in their recent non-league challenge against Maloney (Meriden, CT)

Next up, the Blue Dragons confront the Maloney Spartans (Meriden, CT) in a Central Connecticut - South Colonial challenge, on Friday, December 15. Middletown will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 69-20 non-league loss to Conard (West Hartford, CT).
