In Friday's league match, the host Strom Thurmond Rebels basketball team scored a decisive 58-15 triumph over the Pelion Panthers.

In their next game, the Rebels meet the Silver Bluff Bulldogs (Aiken, SC) in a AA Region 3 match, on Tuesday, February 6. Strom Thurmond will attempt to better on its 14-10 season record.
