The Washington Hatchets (Washington, IN) basketball nipped the visiting Princeton Tigers (Princeton, IN), 43-39 in Friday's non-league test.

The Hatchets (21-4) will now prepare for their test against Vincennes Lincoln (Vincennes, IN). The Alices go into the non-league test with a 10-14 record. In their last test, Vincennes Lincoln got by Pike Central (Petersburg, IN), 59-38, in a non-league test.
