Vermont High School Basketball - North Country Union overwhelms Vergennes
February 20, 2023: Vergennes, VT 05491 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the North Country Union Falcons (Newport, VT) and the host Vergennes Commodores (Vergennes, VT), saw North Country Union's basketball squad wallop Vergennes by a tally of 68-43.
With the victory, North Country Union improves its record to 17-2 on the campaign. The Falcons host Enosburg Falls (Enosburg Falls, VT) to play the Hornets in a Mountain challenge on Friday, February 24. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 4-9. Enosburg Falls won 51-50 in their recent non-league challenge against Burr & Burton (Manchester, VT)
Next up, the Commodores play the Milton Yellowjackets (Milton, VT) in a Lake challenge, on Friday, February 24. Vergennes will attempt to improve on its 12-6 season record.
