February 20, 2024: Taos, NM 87571 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Taos Tigers (Taos, NM) and the visiting Los Alamos Hilltoppers (Los Alamos, NM), saw Taos's basketball squad overcome Los Alamos by a tally of 48-36.
With the victory, Taos improves its record to 13-12 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Espanola Valley (Espanola, NM) to confront the Sundevils in a 4A District 2 challenge on Friday, February 23. The Sundevils come into the challenge with a record of 11-14. Espanola Valley lost 54-53 in their recent league challenge against Los Alamos (Los Alamos, NM)
Next up, the Hilltoppers confront the Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes (Pojoaque, NM) in a 4A District 2 challenge, on Friday, February 23. Los Alamos will attempt to improve on its 9-15 season record. The Elks/Elkettes come into the challenge with a 11-14 record after their 63-60 league win over Moriarty (Moriarty, NM).
