Michigan High School Basketball - Clare sneaks past Shepherd
February 20, 2025: Clare, MI 48617 The Clare Pioneers (Clare, MI) basketball edged the visiting Shepherd Bluejays (Shepherd, MI), 44-40 in Thursday's league bout.
The Pioneers now possess a 11-11 record. They play next when they travel to Chippewa Hills for a non-league bout on Monday, February 24. Clare will play a Warriors team coming off a 52-40 league loss to Newaygo (Newaygo, MI). The Warriors record now stands at 6-16.
With the loss, Shepherd falls to 5-17 on the campaign. The Bluejays travel to Bullock Creek (Midland, MI) to play the Lancers in a non-league bout on Monday, February 24. The Lancers go into the bout with a record of 9-13. Bullock Creek won 77-54 in their recent non-league bout against Calvary Baptist Academy (Midland, MI)
