The Grand Traverse Academy Mustangs (Traverse City, MI) basketball edged the visiting Forest Area Warriors (Fife Lake, MI), 36-29 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Mustangs now possess a 10-9 record.

With the loss, Forest Area falls to 3-18 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Central Lake (Central Lake, MI) to play the Trojans in a Ski-Valley bout on Monday, February 24. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 7-15. Central Lake lost 55-50 in their recent league bout against Inland Lakes (Indian River, MI)
