February 20, 2025: Cheyenne, WY 82001 East Thunderbirds (Cheyenne, WY) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting South Bison (Cheyenne, WY), 50-24 in a league match.
With the victory, East upgrades its record to 19-2 on the year. The Thunderbirds host Central (Cheyenne, WY) to face the Indians in a 4A East match on Friday, February 28. The Indians enter the match with a record of 20-1. Central won 50-31 in their recent league match against Laramie (Laramie, WY)
The Bison now sport a 0-20 record. They put it on the line next when they host Laramie for a 4A East match on Wednesday, February 26. South will face a Plainsmen squad coming off a 50-31 league loss to Central (Cheyenne, WY). The Plainsmen record now stands at 9-12.
