The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Sturgis Brown Scoopers (Sturgis, SD) and the visiting Rapid City Central Cobblers (Rapid City, SD), observed Sturgis Brown's basketball team knock off Rapid City Central by a score of 50-41.

The Scoopers (9-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Belle Fourche (Belle Fourche, SD). The Broncs come into the non-league challenge with a 11-8 record. In their last challenge, Belle Fourche dropped by Rapid City Christian (Rapid City, SD), 57-50, in a league challenge.
