In Tuesday's league match, the visiting Sheldon Irish basketball team scored a tight 66-63 triumph over the South Eugene Axe.

In their next game, the Irish meet the Roseburg Indians (Roseburg, OR) in a 6A Southwest match, on Friday, February 24. Sheldon will attempt to better on its 9-15 season record. The Indians enter the match with a 14-7 record after their 61-45 league win over Grants Pass (Grants Pass, OR).
