February 21, 2024: Circle Pines, MN 55014 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Centennial Cougars (Circle Pines, MN) and the visiting Spring Lake Park Panthers (Spring Lake Park, MN), saw Centennial's basketball squad hold off Spring Lake Park by a tally of 69-64.
With the victory, Centennial improves its record to 8-17 on the campaign. The Cougars host Elk River (Elk River, MN) to play the Elks in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 23. The Elks come into the challenge with a record of 4-19. Elk River won 74-63 in their recent non-league challenge against Blaine (Blaine, MN)
Next up, the Panthers play the Totino-Grace Eagles (Fridley, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 23. Spring Lake Park will attempt to improve on its 14-10 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 20-4 record after their 77-73 non-league loss to Minnetonka (Minnetonka, MN).
