In Friday's league test, the Portales Rams (Portales, NM) basketball squad trounced the host Lovington Wildcats (Lovington, NM), by a score of 55-15.

Next, the Rams encounter the Goddard Rockets (Roswell, NM) in a 4A District 4 test, on Tuesday, February 25. Portales will attempt to improve on its 16-9 season record. The Rockets come into the test with a 13-13 record after their 56-41 league loss to Artesia (Artesia, NM).
