Portales Rams (Portales, NM) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Lovington Wildcats (Lovington, NM), 74-40 in a league match.

With the victory, Portales upgrades its record to 13-9 on the year. The Rams travel to Goddard (Roswell, NM) to face the Rockets in a 4A District 4 match on Friday, February 14. The Rockets enter the match with a record of 13-10. Goddard won 49-48 in their recent league match against Artesia (Artesia, NM)

The Wildcats now sport a 13-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Artesia for a 4A District 4 match on Friday, February 14. Lovington will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 49-48 league loss to Goddard (Roswell, NM). The Bulldogs record now stands at 9-13.
