The Adams Highlanders basketball team scored 57 points and held the host Athens Red Hawks to 41 in the Highlanders league triumph on Tuesday.

The Highlanders now sport a 7-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oxford for a Oakland - Blue contest on Thursday, February 24. Adams will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 49-27 non-league win over Lake Orion (Lake Orion, MI). The Wildcats record now stands at 11-5.

The Red Hawks (6-13) will now prepare for their contest against North Farmington (Farmington Hills, MI). The Raiders enter the Freelance contest with a 10-8 record. In their last contest, North Farmington was defeated by Berkley (Berkley, MI), 52-39, in a non-league contest.
