Iowa High School Basketball - Mt. Vernon overwhelmed by Assumption
February 22, 2024: Davenport, IA 52804 The Assumption Knights basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the visiting Mt. Vernon Mustangs to 37 in the Knights non-league victory on Thursday.
The Knights now sport a 17-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Muscatine for a Mississippi contest on Tuesday, March 12. Assumption will battle a Muskies team coming off a 46-45 league loss to Davenport Central (Davenport, IA). The Muskies record now stands at 6-18.
