Iowa High School Basketball - Clinton overwhelmed by Assumption
January 26, 2024: Clinton, IA 52732 The Assumption Knights basketball team scored 65 points and restricted the host Clinton River Kings to 40 in the Knights league victory on Friday.
The Knights now sport a 10-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Muscatine for a Mississippi contest on Tuesday, January 30. Assumption will battle a Muskies team coming off a 50-44 league loss to Davenport North (Davenport, IA). The Muskies record now stands at 3-10.
The River Kings (0-15) will now prepare for their contest against Davenport North (Davenport, IA). The Wildcats come into the Mississippi contest with a 10-6 record. In their last contest, Davenport North triumphed over Muscatine (Muscatine, IA), 50-44, in a league contest.
