Iowa High School Basketball - Clinton overwhelmed by Davenport Central
February 2, 2024: Davenport, IA 52803 The Davenport Central Blue Devils basketball team scored 73 points and restricted the visiting Clinton River Kings to 33 in the Blue Devils league victory on Friday.
The Blue Devils now sport a 8-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pleasant Valley for a Mississippi contest on Tuesday, February 6. Davenport Central will battle a Spartans team coming off a 65-47 league win over Assumption (Davenport, IA). The Spartans record now stands at 13-4.
The River Kings (0-17) will now prepare for their contest against Bettendorf (Bettendorf, IA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league contest with a 12-7 record. In their last contest, Bettendorf triumphed over North Scott (Eldridge, IA), 73-55, in a non-league contest.
