February 13, 2024: Pleasant Valley, IA 52767 The Pleasant Valley Spartans (Pleasant Valley, IA) basketball crushed the visiting Clinton River Kings (Clinton, IA), 87-32 in Tuesday's league test.
The Spartans (17-5) will now prepare for their test against Muscatine (Muscatine, IA). The Muskies go into the Mississippi test with a 6-16 record. In their last test, Muscatine was trounced by Davenport Central (Davenport, IA), 69-61, in a league test.
The River Kings now own a 0-20 record. They play next when they host Central DeWitt for a non-league test on Thursday, February 15. Clinton will encounter a squad coming off a 53-39 non-league loss to Assumption (Davenport, IA). The record now stands at 9-13.
