February 9, 2024: DeWitt, IA 52742 The Pleasant Valley Spartans (Pleasant Valley, IA) basketball felled the host Central Clinton Sabers (DeWitt, IA), 57-39 in Friday's league test.
The Spartans (16-4) will now prepare for their test against Stoughton (Stoughton, WI). The Vikings go into the non-league test with a 17-3 record. In their last test, Stoughton thwarted McFarland (McFarland, WI), 71-42, in a non-league test.
The Sabers now own a 7-10 record. They play next when they host Assumption for a Mississippi test on Tuesday, February 13. Central Clinton will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 68-59 non-league loss to Bettendorf (Bettendorf, IA). The Knights record now stands at 12-11.
