The Martins Ferry Purple Riders basketball team (Martins Ferry, OH), was toppled 67-56 in Thursday's league battle with the host Union Local Jets (Belmont, OH)

The Jets now possess a 18-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tuscarawas Valley for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 27. Union Local will confront a Trojans team coming off a 52-43 non-league loss to Marlington (Alliance, OH). The Trojans record now stands at 9-13.
