Spectators at Thursday's non-league match between the Lake Travis Cavaliers (Austin, TX) and the visiting Hays Hawks (Buda, TX), witnessed Lake Travis's softball squad tip Hays by a count of 9-8.

The Cavaliers now sport a 7-3 record. They play next when they host O'Connor for a non-league match on Friday, February 23. Lake Travis will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 5-2 non-league win over Dripping Springs (Dripping Springs, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 4-2.
