South Dakota High School Basketball - Pierre T.F. Riggs triumphant over Lincoln
February 22, 2025: Pierre, SD 57501 The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the Pierre T.F. Riggs Governors (Pierre, SD) and the visiting Lincoln Patriots (Sioux Falls, SD), observed Pierre T.F. Riggs's basketball team overwhelm Lincoln by a score of 66-39.
The Governors (11-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Jefferson (Sioux Falls, SD). The Cavaliers come into the AA challenge with a 9-9 record. In their last challenge, Jefferson crushed Lincoln (Sioux Falls, SD), 55-38, in a league bout.
With the loss, Lincoln falls to 1-17 on the campaign. The Patriots host Rapid City Central (Rapid City, SD) to play the Cobblers in a AA bout on Friday, February 28. The Cobblers go into the bout with a record of 2-17. Rapid City Central won 55-24 in their recent league bout against Douglas (Box Elder, SD)
