South Dakota High School Basketball - Watertown sneaks past Pierre T.F. Riggs
December 17, 2024: Watertown, SD 57201 The Watertown Arrows basketball team scored 41 points and limited the visiting Pierre T.F. Riggs Governors to 36 in the Arrows league triumph on Tuesday.
The Arrows now possess a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Mitchell for a AA game on Tuesday, December 17. Watertown will play a Kernels team coming off a 41-24 non-league loss to Vermillion (Vermillion, SD). The Kernels record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Pierre T.F. Riggs falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Governors host Sturgis Brown (Sturgis, SD) to play the Scoopers in a AA game on Friday, December 20. The Scoopers go into the game with a record of 1-0. Sturgis Brown won 52-34 in their recent non-league game against Custer (Custer, SD)
