Oregon High School Basketball - Centennial knocked off by Putnam
February 23, 2024: Milwaukie, OR 97267 The Putnam Kingsmen basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Centennial Eagles to 43 in the Kingsmen non-league triumph on Friday.
The Kingsmen now sport a 19-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hood River Valley for a 5A Northwest Oregon contest on Monday, February 26. Putnam will meet a Eagles team coming off a 65-48 non-league win over Hillsboro (Hillsboro, OR). The Eagles record now stands at 10-11.
The Eagles (14-10) will now prepare for their contest against La Salle (Milwaukie, OR). The Falcons enter the 5A Northwest Oregon contest with a 14-10 record. In their last contest, La Salle ran past Parkrose (Portland, OR), 63-47, in a non-league contest.
