North Carolina High School Basketball - Hickory Ridge knocked off by Lake Norman

The Lake Norman Wildcats basketball team scored 67 points and held the host Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls to 53 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Friday.

The Wildcats now sport a 24-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Parkland for a non-league match on Tuesday, February 27. Lake Norman will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 82-74 non-league loss to West Forsyth (Clemmons, NC). The Mustangs record now stands at 11-14.

With the defeat, Hickory Ridge moves to 20-7 on the year. The Ragin' bulls host Butler (Matthews, NC) to meet the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Tuesday, February 27. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 19-8. Butler won 54-52 in their recent non-league match against Independence (Charlotte, NC)
