In Friday's non-league outing, the Hancock Bulldogs (Hancock, MI) basketball squad beat the host L'Anse Purple Hornets (L'Anse, MI), by a count of 42-32.

The Bulldogs (9-10) will now prepare for their outing against West Iron County (Iron River, MI). The Wykons go into the Western Peninsula outing with a 10-11 record. In their last outing, West Iron County was topped by Wright (Ironwood, MI), 59-52, in a non-league outing.
