February 24, 2024: Inver Grove Heights, MN 55076 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Simley Spartans (Inver Grove Heights, MN) and the visiting Como Park Cougars (St. Paul, MN), saw Simley's basketball squad overcome Como Park by a tally of 68-59.
With the victory, Simley improves its record to 5-20 on the campaign. The Spartans host Two Rivers (Mendota Heights, MN) to confront the Warriors in a AAA Section 3 challenge on Tuesday, February 27. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 8-16. Two Rivers lost 74-70 in their recent league challenge against St. Thomas Academy (Mendota Heights, MN)
Next up, the Cougars confront the Maranatha Christian Academy Mustangs (Brooklyn Park, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 27. Como Park will attempt to improve on its 10-17 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 18-6 record after their 102-85 league loss to Breck (Minneapolis, MN).
