January 30, 2024: Mendota Heights, MN 55118 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Two Rivers Warriors (Mendota Heights, MN) and the visiting Simley Spartans (Inver Grove Heights, MN), saw Two Rivers's basketball squad overcome Simley by a tally of 71-54.
With the victory, Two Rivers improves its record to 7-11 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to South St. Paul (South St. Paul, MN) to confront the Packers in a AAA Section 3 challenge on Friday, February 2. The Packers come into the challenge with a record of 6-11. South St. Paul lost 55-50 in their recent league challenge against St. Thomas Academy (Mendota Heights, MN)
Next up, the Spartans confront the North Polars (North St. Paul, MN) in a AAA Section 4 challenge, on Thursday, February 1. Simley will attempt to improve on its 4-14 season record. The Polars come into the challenge with a 6-10 record after their 75-63 league win over Mahtomedi (Mahtomedi, MN).
