In Saturday's non-league outing, the The Vanguard School Coursers (Colorado Springs, CO) basketball squad edged the host Salida Spartans (Salida, CO), by a margin of 66-63.

The Coursers (21-1) will now prepare for their outing against Cedaredge (Cedaredge, CO). The Bruins go into the non-league outing with a 10-12 record. In their last outing, Cedaredge held off Grand Valley (Parachute, CO), 59-58, in a non-league outing.
