Union Pines Vikings (Cameron, NC) backers exited the stadium satisfied Monday as they saw their lacrosse team top the visiting Garner Trojans (Garner, NC), 18-9 in a non-league game.

With the victory, Union Pines improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Vikings travel to Cleveland (Clayton, NC) to play the Rams in a non-league game on Friday, February 28. The Rams come into the game with a record of 0-0.

The Trojans now have a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rolesville for a non-league game on Friday, February 28. Garner will play a Rams team coming off a 18-3 non-league loss to Corinth Holders (Wendell, NC). The Rams record now stands at 0-1.
