Clayton Comets (Clayton, NC) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they saw their lacrosse team achieve victory over the host Garner Trojans (Garner, NC), 17-12 in a league battle.

With the victory, Clayton advances its record to 6-3 on the season. The Comets travel to Fuquay - Varina (Fuquay-Varina, NC) to encounter the Bengals in a Greater Neuse River battle on Thursday, March 27. The Bengals come into the battle with a record of 5-3.

The Trojans now sport a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fuquay - Varina for a Greater Neuse River battle on Monday, March 24. Garner will encounter a Bengals team coming off a 17-13 non-league win over Enloe (Raleigh, NC). The Bengals record now stands at 5-3.
