In Wednesday's league test, the Willow Spring Storm (Fuquay-Varina, NC) lacrosse team edged the visiting Clayton Comets (Clayton, NC), by a count of 8-7.

Next up, the Storm battle the Ashley Screaming Eagle (Wilmington, NC) in a non-league test, on Friday, April 11. Willow Spring will attempt to move on its 7-5 season record. The Screaming Eagle enter the test with a 4-6 record after their 15-2 league win over North Brunswick (Leland, NC).

The Comets (9-4) will now prepare for their test against Garner (Garner, NC). The Trojans enter the Greater Neuse River test with a 4-6 record.
