East Vikings (West Chester, PA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Marple Newtown Fightin' Tigers (Newtown Square, PA), 64-29 in a non-league bout.

With the win, East upgrades its record to 17-8 on the season. The Vikings host Holy Ghost Prep (Bensalem, PA) to clash with the Firebirds in a non-league bout on Wednesday, March 1. The Firebirds go into the bout with a record of 14-11. Holy Ghost Prep won 64-55 in their recent non-league bout against Upper Merion Area (King of Prussia, PA)
