February 25, 2023: Livermore, CA 94550 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Salesian College Preparatory Pride (Richmond, CA) and the host Granada Matadors (Livermore, CA), saw Salesian College Preparatory's basketball squad hold off Granada by a tally of 50-48.
With the victory, Salesian College Preparatory improves its record to 23-8 on the campaign. The Pride host Serra (San Mateo, CA) to confront the Padres in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 28. The Padres come into the challenge with a record of 17-11. Serra lost 64-59 in their recent non-league challenge against Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory (San Francisco, CA)
Next up, the Matadors confront the Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory Fightin' Irish (San Francisco, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 28. Granada will attempt to improve on its 22-10 season record. The Fightin' Irish come into the challenge with a 16-12 record after their 64-59 non-league win over Serra (San Mateo, CA).
