February 25, 2023: Hart, MI 49420 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Hart Pirates (Hart, MI) and the visiting Newaygo Lions (Newaygo, MI), saw Hart's basketball squad overcome Newaygo by a tally of 65-46.
With the victory, Hart improves its record to 19-0 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Hesperia (Hesperia, MI) to confront the Panthers in a Western Michigan Lakes - Rivers challenge on Tuesday, February 28. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 4-14.
Next up, the Lions confront the Grant Tigers (Grant, MI) in a Central State - Gold challenge, on Tuesday, February 28. Newaygo will attempt to improve on its 12-8 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 10-9 record after their 69-64 non-league loss to Morley Stanwood (Morley, MI).
