Michigan High School Basketball - Newaygo tipped by Shelby
January 9, 2023: Shelby, MI 49455 The Shelby Tigers basketball team scored 46 points and held the visiting Newaygo Lions to 40 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Monday.
The Tigers now sport a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Holton for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 12. Shelby will meet a Red Devils team coming off a 52-39 non-league loss to Muskegon Catholic Central (Muskegon, MI). The Red Devils record now stands at 0-8.
The Lions (5-4) will now prepare for their contest against Morley Stanwood (Morley, MI). The Mohawks enter the non-league contest with a 3-4 record.
