Michigan High School Basketball - Newaygo overwhelms Holton
January 31, 2023: Newaygo, MI 49337 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Newaygo Lions (Newaygo, MI) and the visiting Holton Red Devils (Holton, MI), saw Newaygo's basketball squad wallop Holton by a tally of 69-44.
With the victory, Newaygo improves its record to 9-5 on the campaign. The Lions travel to White Cloud (White Cloud, MI) to play the Indians in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 3. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 7-6. White Cloud lost 62-45 in their recent non-league challenge against Hart (Hart, MI)
Next up, the Red Devils play the Ravenna Bulldogs (Ravenna, MI) in a Western Michigan Lakes - Rivers challenge, on Friday, February 3. Holton will attempt to improve on its 0-13 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 4-9 record after their 69-42 non-league loss to Fremont (Fremont, MI).
