Cathedral Catholic Dons (San Diego, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Bonita Vista Barons (Chula Vista, CA), 5-4 in a non-league test.

With the win, Cathedral Catholic upgrades its record to 1-2 on the season. The Dons host Santana (Santee, CA) to battle the Sultans in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 1. The Sultans come into the test with a record of 2-1. Santana won 13-1 in their recent non-league test against Rancho Buena Vista (Vista, CA)

With the defeat, Bonita Vista falls to 1-1 on the season. The Barons travel to Granite Hills (El Cajon, CA) to battle the Eagles in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 1. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 3-0. Granite Hills won 26-4 in their recent non-league test against Classical Academy (Escondido, CA)
