Minnesota High School Basketball - Maple River ripped by Oakes
February 26, 2024: Mapleton, MN 56065 The Oakes Tornadoes basketball team scored 71 points and held the host Maple River Eagles to 38 in the Tornadoes non-league triumph on Monday.
The Tornadoes now sport a 13-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Barnes County North co-op [North Central/Wimbledon-Courtenay] for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 27. Oakes will meet a Bison team coming off a 62-53 league loss to Hankinson (Hankinson, ND). The Bison record now stands at 14-9.
