Florida High School Baseball - Armwood loses to Sumner

Sumner Stingrays (Riverview, FL) fans left the game pleased Thursday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Armwood Hawks (Seffner, FL), 9-3 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Sumner advances its record to 4-2 on the season. The Stingrays host Plant (Tampa, FL) to battle the Panthers in a non-league test on Friday, February 27. The Panthers go into the test with a record of 5-3. Plant won 12-0 in their recent non-league test against Morgan (Wimauma, FL)

With the defeat, Armwood drops to 2-4 on the year. The Hawks travel to Wharton (Tampa, FL) to play the Wildcats in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 3. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 5-0. Wharton won 4-2 in their recent non-league outing against Riverview (Riverview, FL)
